Welcome!

I am thrilled that you stopped by! Grab a cup of coffee or tea, pull up a chair and spend some time with me. This has been my dream for more years than I wish to share, but I’m finally here. This site is all about my varied (miscellaneous, thus Miss Allany) interests, with a purpose in mind to share all little tips and tidbits I’ve learned along the way. Some areas (jewelry making and quilting) are new to me, so I won’t have as much to share as I would in the area of crochet (which I have been doing for many, many (yes, many) years. How many? Well….I learned when I was around 7 and that was in 1965, so let’s see how good your math is.

Besides crafting, my great love in life is writing, which is one of the reasons I have held onto my dream of blogging. Hopefully, I can fine tune my writing skills enough to entertain, rather than bore you into moving through your preferred search engine. Being the youngest of thirteen children, nine of which are brothers, I can probably rouse up a few amusing stories to tell. However, my strongest desire is to share my testimonials. I love the Lord more than I can convey in words, even with the use of a dictionary and thesaurus, and it is my sincere hope that my writings will accurately reflect all that He is to me.
